1. Introduction & Acceptance of Terms

Welcome to AUM TASK MANAGEMENT SYSTEM. These Terms of Use ("Terms") constitute a legally binding agreement between you ("Subscriber", "User", "You") and Aarthik Unnati Marg Pvt. Ltd. ("Company", "We", "Us", "Our"), governing your access to and use of our web application located at taskapp.aum.in and related services (collectively, the "Platform" or "Services").

By creating an account, accessing, or using the Platform:

  1. You agree to be bound by these Terms and acknowledge having read our Privacy & Data Protection Policy.
  2. You warrant that you have the legal capacity and authority to enter into these Terms.
  3. If you are accepting these Terms on behalf of an organization, company, or team, you represent that you possess the requisite authority to bind such entity to these Terms.

2. Platform Description & Data Roles

AUM TASK MANAGEMENT SYSTEM is an online task, project management, and workflow collaboration platform designed for organizations, businesses, teams, and employees to organize workflows, track milestones, manage responsibilities, and monitor productivity.

Data Controller vs. Data Processor (Hosted Data)

  • Account & Profile Data (Controller): Aarthik Unnati Marg Pvt. Ltd. acts as a Data Controller for registration details, billing records, authentication history, and contact information.
  • Project & Workspace Content (Hosted Data / Data Processor): All tasks, workflows, milestones, comments, uploaded attachments, and activity logs created within a workspace constitute Hosted Data. Aarthik Unnati Marg Pvt Ltd acts strictly as a Data Processor for Hosted Data on behalf of the customer (the subscribing organization). Individual users seeking data correction or erasure regarding Hosted Data must direct their requests to their workspace administrator.

3. Account Registration & Platform Usage

Account Credentials & Access

  • Access to the Platform requires registration via supported Single Sign-On (SSO) APIs (e.g., Google OAuth) or verified email credentials.
  • You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account.

User Commitments & Security Safety

You agree not to:

  • Use the Software to store or transmit unauthorized sensitive personal data or content that violates applicable privacy laws.
  • Decompile, reverse engineer, disassemble, or attempt to discover the source code or underlying architecture of the Platform.
  • Upload, store, or transmit any material that contains viruses, malware, trojans, or content that infringes upon third-party intellectual property or privacy rights.

4. Third-Party Data Sharing & Sub-Processors

To protect our platform integrity, ensure security, and deliver scalable services, Aarthik Unnati Marg Pvt. Ltd. works with trusted third-party service providers. By using our Services, you explicitly acknowledge and agree that we share relevant operational and usage data with third parties for the following purposes:

  • Cloud Infrastructure & Hosting: We utilize scalable cloud computing capacity, secure object storage for data backups, and transactional email engines (e.g., Amazon Web Services - AWS).
  • Performance & System Monitoring: Third-party application performance management (APM) tools analyze system diagnostics, feature load times, and error tracking.
  • Authentication & Integrations: Single Sign-On (SSO) and meeting integration APIs (including Google and Microsoft OAuth APIs) process minimal authentication details.
  • Independent Contractors & Support: Verified independent contractors or support agents may access diagnostic logs strictly to resolve system errors or operational tickets under audited confidentiality obligations.

5. Integration with Google API Services

AUM TASK MANAGEMENT SYSTEM integrates with Google services—including Google Sign-In, Google Calendar, and Google Meet—to facilitate account authentication and meeting scheduling.

  • OAuth Authorization: Integrations use OAuth 2.0 authorization. Data is accessed only upon explicit consent and user request.
  • Revocation: Users may revoke Google permissions at any time via their Google Account security settings or Platform preferences.
Google API Limited Use Compliance: Aarthik Unnati Marg Pvt Ltd's use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

6. Subscription Plans, Billing & Cancellation Policy

Freemium & Pricing Structure

  • Free Forever Tier*: The first 5 users in a workspace are 100% Free Forever*.
  • Paid Tier (6+ Users): For the 6th user onwards, a subscription fee of ₹100 per user per month applies.

Billing Cycle & Mid-Cycle Cancellation

  • Payment in Advance: Subscription fees for paid user licenses are billed monthly in advance.
  • Cancellation Policy: You may cancel your paid subscription at any time during your billing cycle via workspace settings.
  • Full Month Access Guarantee: If you cancel your plan mid-cycle, you will retain full access to all paid features and user licenses for the remainder of that paid billing month.
  • Non-Refundable: Subscriptions are non-refundable for partial months, but your service will remain active until the conclusion of the paid monthly period, after which the plan will downgrade or adjust accordingly.

7. Intellectual Property Rights

Platform Ownership

Aarthik Unnati Marg Pvt. Ltd. retains all rights, title, and interest in and to the Platform, including all software code, interface designs, logos, trademarks, domain names, and derivative works. No rights are granted to You other than the limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable right to access and use the Platform in accordance with your plan tier.

Subscriber Data Ownership & License

You retain sole ownership of all intellectual property rights in Your Hosted Data (tasks, files, comments). You grant Aarthik Unnati Marg Pvt. Ltd. a worldwide, royalty-free, non-exclusive license to host, copy, process, and display Your Data solely to provide, support, maintain, and secure the Platform.

8. Technical Security & Data Retention

Security Safeguards

Aarthik Unnati Marg Pvt. Ltd. employs industry-standard administrative, physical, and technical safeguards, including:

  • Encryption in Transit: All data transmitted between user browsers and platform servers is protected using SSL/TLS encryption.
  • Encryption at Rest: Database volumes and stored attachments are encrypted at rest.
  • Password Cryptography: User authentication credentials are systematically hashed using the BCrypt algorithm.

Retention & Erasure

  • System Backups: Systemic queue backups retain deleted operational resources for up to 14 days prior to permanent purge.
  • Account Termination: Following workspace closure or account termination, Hosted Data is retained for 30 days before permanent erasure from active production databases.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Platform and all server/network components are provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis without representations or warranties of any kind, express or implied. Aarthik Unnati Marg Pvt. Ltd. explicitly disclaims all implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, or that platform access will be uninterrupted, error-free, virus-free, or entirely secure over public telecommunication networks.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law:

  1. Exclusion of Consequential Damages: In no event shall Aarthik Unnati Marg Pvt. Ltd., its affiliates, directors, officers, employees, or agents be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, punitive, exemplary, or consequential damages (including loss of profits, revenue, data, goodwill, or business interruption) arising out of or related to your use or inability to use the Platform.
  2. One-Month Liability Cap: In the event Aarthik Unnati Marg Pvt. Ltd. or its affiliates are held liable for loss or damage under these Terms, our total aggregate liability across all claims shall be strictly limited to the total charges or fees paid by You to Aarthik Unnati Marg Pvt. Ltd. for use of the Platform in the one (1) month preceding the date of the claim.

11. Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Aarthik Unnati Marg Pvt Ltd, its officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any third-party claims, losses, damages, or costs (including legal fees) arising from your breach of these Terms, unauthorized data submission, or violation of any third-party rights or applicable laws.

12. Term and Termination

  • Termination by You: You may stop using the Platform and cancel your account at any time via workspace settings.
  • Termination by Us: We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your profile immediately upon written notice for material breach of these Terms, non-payment, or technical/security imperatives.

13. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any legal suit, action, or proceeding arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Platform shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts located in Gurugram, Haryana, India.
