AUM TASK MANAGEMENT SYSTEM is an online task and project management platform developed by Aarthik Unnati Marg Pvt. Ltd. to help organizations, businesses, teams, and employees manage work, projects, tasks, and internal collaboration activities through a centralized workspace.

Hosted Data & Responsibility Boundaries

  • AUM as a Data Controller: For account management, registration, billing data, authentication history, and communication logs, AUM determines the processing rules.
  • AUM as a Data Processor (Hosted Data): All tasks, workflows, milestones, comments, uploaded attachments, and activity logs created within a workspace constitute Hosted Data. We process this data strictly on behalf of our corporate customers (the subscribing organizations). AUM is not responsible for the content, accuracy, legality, or sensitivity of Hosted Data uploaded by users or workspace administrators.

3. Information We Collect

We collect necessary technical, personal, and usage data to operate the platform:

Personal & Account Information

  • Contact Details: Full name, corporate email address, telephone numbers, and company/department details.
  • Profile & Account Data: Optional profile avatars, authentication credentials, and workspace role assignments.
  • Billing Information: Payment instrument details and transaction history.

Hosted & Technical Information

  • Tasks, projects, comments, shared attachments, schedules, and workflow records.
  • IP addresses, device identifiers, browser parameters, operating system metrics, and diagnostic logs.

4. Sharing Data with Third Parties & Disclaimer of Third-Party Liability

To operate, host, scale, and maintain our services, we share user and workspace data with third-party service providers. By using our platform, you explicitly consent to this data sharing.

Third-Party Service Providers & Sub-Processors

We share relevant data with third-party vendors for:

  • Cloud Infrastructure & Hosting: Scalable server compute, encrypted object storage for attachments, and transactional email systems (e.g., Amazon Web Services - AWS).

Absolute Disclaimer of Third-Party Liability: AUM is not responsible or liable for the privacy practices, security protocols, data handling, or potential data breaches of any third-party infrastructure providers, external websites, or integrated tools. Once data is transmitted to or processed by a third-party service or enabled integration, its security and usage are governed solely by that third party's terms and privacy policies.

5. Google API Services & Integrations

AUM TASK MANAGEMENT SYSTEM integrates with Google services—including Google Sign-In, Google Calendar, and Google Meet—to facilitate account authentication and meeting scheduling.

Limited Use Compliance Statement: AUM TASK MANAGEMENT SYSTEM's use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

Google user data is accessed solely to fulfill user-initiated calendar sync and meeting creation. AUM does not store stream content or sell Google API data. Users may revoke Google permissions at any time via their Google Account settings.

6. General Disclaimer & Limitation of Responsibility

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law:

  • No Liability for System Outages or Data Loss: While we apply reasonable administrative safeguards, AUM does not guarantee absolute security or uninterrupted service. AUM is not responsible for any lost data, corrupted files, unauthorized system access, or technical downtime beyond our direct control.
  • No Liability for User Content: AUM does not monitor, verify, or endorse the content uploaded or shared on the platform. Subscribers and workspace users bear sole responsibility for ensuring that uploaded files do not violate copyright, privacy, or statutory laws.

7. Legal Basis for Data Processing

Data is processed under standard legal frameworks:

  • Contractual & Operational Needs: Processing necessary to deliver workspace services and enforce platform agreements.
  • Legitimate Interests: Platform maintenance, security threat detection, and system optimization.
  • Consent under Indian DPDPA (2023) & Global Laws: Processing based on the explicit, voluntary consent provided by users upon account creation or feature activation.

8. User Rights & Requests

Depending on applicable jurisdiction (including India's DPDPA 2023, GDPR, or CCPA), users have rights regarding their data, including rights to access, update, or request account erasure.

Note: For Hosted Data managed by an employer or organization, individual users must direct data subject requests to their workspace administrator, as AUM does not control corporate workspace data.

9. Cross-Border Data Transfers

Your data may be transferred to and stored on secure cloud servers located within India, the United States, or other international regions depending on our cloud infrastructure setup. By using the service, you consent to the cross-border transfer of your information.

10. Retention & Data Erasure

  • Backup Retentions: Deleted files and workspace resources remain in encrypted backup queues for up to 14 days before permanent purge.
  • Account Closure: Upon workspace termination, platform data is retained for 30 days before permanent database erasure. AUM is not responsible for retrieving data after this 30-day window has expired.

11. Children’s Privacy & Age Disclaimer

AUM TASK MANAGEMENT SYSTEM is designed exclusively as a professional workspace tool and is not directed towards children.

Disclaimer of Responsibility for User Age

  • No Responsibility for Age Verification: AUM does not actively verify the age of individual users who register or are added to workspaces. AUM is strictly not responsible or liable for determining which age group of individuals accesses or uses the platform.
  • Subscriber Responsibility: Workspace administrators, corporate account owners, and individual users are solely responsible for ensuring that anyone accessing the workspace meets the legal age requirements in their respective jurisdiction (e.g., 18+ in India, 16+ in the EU/UK/US). If an underage user accesses the platform without authorization, AUM will delete the account upon receiving verified notice, but assumes no legal liability for such unauthorized access.

12. Technical Security Safeguards

AUM implements industry-standard security measures, including HTTPS/SSL encryption in transit, data encryption at rest, and password hashing using the BCrypt algorithm. However, no internet transmission is 100% secure, and users acknowledge that they transmit data at their own risk.

13. Policy Updates

We reserve the right to revise this Privacy Policy at any time. Updated versions will be posted on the platform with a revised "Last Updated" date. Continued use of the platform after updates indicates acceptance of the revised policy.
